The 2000 Series Models XEN1 and XEN4 xenon strobe beacon from Federal Signal are useable visual warning lights that need ATEX clearance. A single xenon flashing tube is included inside the strobe light known as Model XEN1. Because of this, it is well suited for usage in interior explosion-proof spaces that must adhere to European electrical safety requirements.
The Model XEN4 strobe light simulates the action of a revolving mechanical beacon by using four sequentially timed strobe tubes. This four-strobe variant is perfect for outdoor settings where a regular beacon might not be sufficient.
A nitrile rubber o-ring seal protects flameproof strobe lights from dust and water. To withstand corrosion, all exterior cast aluminum surfaces are powder coated, and external hardware is made of stainless steel.
A DC or AC power source is required to power the 2000 Series beacon. All devices have screw style terminal blocks for field wiring.
The 2000 Series beacons all include a four entrance fixture to allow for cable looping. These cable entry are metric (M20 X 1.5), but alternative configurations are available upon request.
